Light Wood Straight Grain PVC Interior Door

SUPERUS coordinates custom doors, wall panels and cabinetry within one spatial language.
Product combinations, finishes, dimensions and functional requirements are confirmed according to each project.

Key Features:

One Thin Frame, Quiet as a Tea Room
This door is built on a light natural-oak straight grain, with a single slim rectangular frame inset into the face — like a light outline drawn on a washitsu wall, no more and no less. The thin moulding draws the eye gently inward without commanding it, and next to vertical fluted wall panelling it becomes the calm, natural-wood picture Japandi and Scandinavian interiors love. It is an especially gentle choice for a bedroom.

Vacuum-Membrane PVC Lamination, Soft Enough to Mould a Frame
The engineered-wood leaf is wrapped in a flexible PVC film that follows this inset rectangle smoothly; front, back and edges are enveloped as one seamless piece, with a continuous grain and no exposed board lines. Paint-free, low in formaldehyde and VOC, and free of on-site painting odour. The moisture-resistant film wipes clean in moments, so the pale grain stays fresh and warm year after year.

Natural Wood That Heals the Day
In morning light the oak reads warmly; a matte-black split lever grounds it without competing. Push it open and the bedroom wakes softly; pull it shut and the heavy leaf moves with a solid, composed motion, muting sound so a light sleeper rests easier.

Calm to Keep
Daily care is a light wipe-down; avoid sharp scrapes and prolonged direct heat. Matching frames and fluted panels can be ordered so the wood tone runs across the whole room. Natural oak works with almost any soft scheme — a warm, consistent fit for a private bedroom or a series of boutique guesthouse rooms. The slim frame also pairs elegantly with matching fluted panels, so a whole wall of quiet, warm wood can be composed around this single door — restful in the morning, restful at night, and always easy to live with — a door that grows on you rather than demanding attention the moment you walk in.clear of hard scratches and direct heat. A matching frame completes the look, tying door and wall together. Warm white is a forgiving, enduring choice — equally reliable for a private home and for a run of apartments or guesthouses, where consistency and easy care both matter. It also means you are never locked into one look: wood floors, stone tiles and woven textiles all sit comfortably against it, and over the years the door simply fades into the pleasant, familiar background of daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between solid wood, engineered wood and WPC interior doors?

Solid wood doors use natural timber (oak, ash, walnut) and give the richest grain, but they move most with humidity. Engineered doors bond a stable core (LVL, finger-joint or solid-core board) with veneer or laminate, so they resist warping far better. WPC (wood-plastic composite) is fully waterproof, termite-proof and needs almost no maintenance, which is why it now dominates bathrooms, kitchens and tropical projects.

Do solid wood doors warp or swell in humid tropical climates?

Any timber absorbs moisture, so a door can cup, swell or bind when indoor relative humidity swings. The risk is controlled three ways: kiln-drying to 8–12% moisture content, balanced construction (equal veneer or laminate on both faces, engineered core), and complete six-sided sealing. For coastal and tropical projects we recommend engineered or WPC cores, or solid wood with full edge sealing and a stable 40–60% indoor RH.

What is a solid core door, and is it worth the extra cost?

A solid core door replaces the hollow honeycomb cavity with a dense engineered core, so it weighs far more, blocks noticeably more sound, resists dents and closes with a substantial feel. For bedrooms, bathrooms and home offices the upgrade usually pays back in comfort and resale appeal. For closets, pantries and low-traffic storage, a hollow core remains a sensible saving.

Hollow core or solid core: which should I choose for a bedroom?

Choose solid core. A hollow core door is light and cheap but transmits conversation almost unchanged, while a solid core door typically adds meaningful sound reduction and privacy. If the room is a nursery, home office or shares a wall with a living area, solid core plus a perimeter seal and a drop-down door bottom is the standard recommendation.
