My wooden door is sticking or will not close properly — how do I fix it?

Seasonal sticking is usually moisture movement: in humid months the leaf swells, in heated winters the frame moves. First check the hinge screws are tight and the reveals are even. If binding is along the latch edge, a light sanding and re-sealing of that edge usually solves it. Persistent sticking means either humidity control or an underlying frame issue, and both should be addressed before trimming.
